Vision of Building

We're on a mission to "Build a Haven for the Community" by providing a place for the greater Glendale, Arizona community to gather, connect and grow.
Have  you seen all of the new trees on our church campus?

These (29!) trees will be going into the plaza to help provide a "haven" from the summer heat and give us some shade for fellowshipping outdoors!

We're giving everyone the opportunity to donate during this holiday season towards one (or more) of our trees! And, you'll receive a certificate with a number that corresponds to your tree.

Each tree is $500. You are welcome to donate any amount you feel led to, and you are encouraged to go in with other families or friends if you'd like as well.

To donate towards a tree, you can visit our giving page, and select the drop down option for "Master Plan Building Fund", with a note in the memo for the "tree campaign".

Current Funding

God has been so faithful every step of this journey, as we "Build a Haven for the Community".

What is the “Master Plan”?
The Master Plan is a 5-year vision God has laid on our hearts to Build a Haven for the Community of Glendale, Arizona, and beyond. It is our prayer that through our church, people will come to know and grow in Jesus through a welcoming environment, a space for our young people, incorporation of athletics, and consistent outreach.
Where can I read more about the Master Plan?
By partnering with Debartolo Architects, we have been able to develop the Master Plan, a project document summarizing our vision. You can learn more about how we are building a haven for the community by reading our project summary linked below.
What is the first phase of the master plan?
Our goal for phase 1 of the master plan includes two elements to be built simultaneously:
A plaza to make a more welcoming entry into our sanctuary. Our hope is that this plaza will provide a place for people to congregate before and after our church services for fellowship, as well as enjoy a shaded space on the way to other campus activities during the week.
A gymnasium that we hope to use as a sports ministry opportunity for allowing unchurched people a non-threatening place to come and discover who we are, and more importantly, who Jesus is! The gymnasium will also allow the campus space for non-athletic events and activities.
What is the timing, and what are the next steps?
We have signed a contract with Robert E. Porter Construction as the General Contractor for our site expansion. We hope to begin construction on the plaza and gymnasium by May/June 2022. God willing, phase 1 will be complete in 2023.
Does part of my tithe go to the church building fund?
No, we are taking up a separate offering for the church building fund. We believe that God has led us to step out in faith and trust that He will provide for what He has called us to do, above and beyond our regular tithes and offerings.
